RICON ENGINEERS, established in 1981, had only one model of Rotary Feeders of two sizes initially. Today, there are four distinct styles, ten sizes, 15 different models and over the numbers of different assembly combination to choose from. There is a Ricon Rotary Feeder to suit every specific application. Over 4000 Ricon Feeders are now in services handling a wide variety of industrial materials ranging from the removal of the dust from cyclone separators, bag filters or other dust suppression equipment, to feeding granular or fine material into pneumatic conveying system, against pressure up to 1 kg/cm². Ricon Heavy Duty models are honored as the finest one and has become an obvious choice in the user industries. Embodied in these machines are all of the features that make operational smoothness and dependability. To ensure maximum rigidity, all basic elements of cast construction, housing, rotor, and end plates are machined to precision tolerance.

Packing glands of generous proportions seal against air or gas leakage into or out of the feeder. Self lubricating packing designed to sustain operating temperature up to 250°C are standard equipments.

The latern ring arrangement is available at slight additional cost to permit purging the shaft seal life almost indefinitely, especially where the machine to be used as a full volume feeder handling cement, fly ash, diatomaceous earth or any similar abrasive products.

Generally the feeder will be fitted with 6 or 8 blades close-fitting, open end rotor, providing the best possible rotating seal against air leakage, since there are always 4 blades sealing, at any time during the rotation.
